I currently have a lease in Queens, NY and Metro PCS has asked to ammend the lease to allow for up to 5 microwave dish mounts. In exchange Metro is proposing to pay $50 for each additional microwave antenna mount. At this time, Metro would like to install only 1 additional microwave dish mount. Thus the rent at this time would increase $50. They have sent me drawings of the proposed work. Is $50 the appropriate rent for a 12" microwave dish?

This is an opportunity to take a look at your existing Metro PCS lease agreement -- not just the amendment they want you to sign. Did they tell you what the microwave dishes were for? Carriers often try to microwave T1 service in cheap and save hundred of dollars a month or more by adding a "$50" dish. We will take a look at your lease and let you know if any terms need to be adjusted and if you are getting fair market value.
We literally spend about 50% of our time fixing and amending leases that uninformed landlords agreed to or well intentioned attorneys screwed up for their clients.
