Just wondering if I can renegotiate my current contract. I have roughly 10 years left on a 25 year lease which I did not sign it came with my property. They have upgraded the site to 4g recently. I am inexperienced at this process to say the least. I have people calling me wanting me to sell which I really don't want to do I would rather keep my lease and maximize my monthly intake. Would love some help thru this process. I do have a copy of current lease. It's possible I can't renegotiate I just want to know my options before moving forward. Thanks Chris
If they really ripped off the previous property owner from whom you purchased the land and cell tower then they probably are not in a rush to get a new contract with you and end up paying you more.

Lease options for you by: Anonymous
Get a copy of the lease! Sometimes they are recorded against the property. Ask your carrier for a copy.
The lease is binding and passes with the property if it is signed by the parties involved. This is the purpose of the lease. To protect the interests of the parties.
Since you get payments, the lease is still with the "owner". Good
Upgrades may be protected by the lease. You may have very limited options as to getting more rent/value.
Every one wants to buy you out!
The present cash value of your lease is based on a few things like; *Carriers *Location *Term of time. *Rents *Escalator ( %annual increase ).
I have ATT/CC and Sprint at one of the most highly traveled freeways in the world. I have been offered nearly a million, but have not sold. Tempting though.
My situation is not typical though.
Call these guys once you get your lease. With no lease, your not even at square one.

Steve or Kevin- I have had a cell site with SBA/T-Mobile (~$1500/month & 4% annual increase) for >15 years. At&t wants to co-locate. My SBA lease gives
