We were contacted by a company called Clear Wire interested in renting some space on top of our building for cell tower antennas. They seemed very interested and eager to sign a quick lease with us. I never heard of them until this week. Is this a company that is going to be here 5 years from now, and will they be able to make rental payments to us if nobody that comes to our store has a Clear Wire cellphone? Are they re-selling the service? We were offered $1,200 per month. I saw your site and thought you could help.
Comments for Clear Wire lease for antennas on roof
Time is an important concern for Clearwire. Many possible benefits to this. They are very motivated to build out their network. Landlords who waste time will usually lose the deal to an alternate site with this carrier.

Don't worry about Clearwire leases... by: Tower Genius
Clearwire is a wireless internet service provider serving markets in the United States, Ireland, Belgium, Spain, Denmark, and Mexico. Clearwire was founded by cellular phone pioneer Craig McCaw in October 2003 and is headquartered in Kirkland, Washington. Clearwire uses wireless technology called WiMax. Sprint PCS owns 51% of Clearwire.
Clearwire is racing to build out its service due to competing services being developed by Verizon Wireless and AT&T that is called LTE. So they need to move very fast if they are going to be successful.
Clearwire is a large company that is well funded and while mergers take place and names change in this industry, the technology and the need to be on your rooftop will exist for a long, long time.
