I currently own land with a current Verizon Cell Tower on the Property
by Scott
(Elk Grove CA)
I purchased a home in which an existing Verizon cell tower was located on the property. However, the lease was in a previous owners name and she was not willing to give up the rights to the cell tower even though I purchased 100 percent of the property rights. I did wind up suing her in a California court but was not successful in the outcome which still baffles me as to why. However, in the court ruling the judge specified that the current payee of the lease agreement will prevail on the current lease until it has ended. I know that the current lease is ending in April of 2020. I need to get contact information for Verizon so that I can make sure they sign a new lease with me the current and legal owner of the property rather then just signing another lease with the previous owner of the property.
I am not really sure what the procedure would be to make this happen, but if you could provide me with a contact email address so that I could send them an email it would be greatly appreciated.
