I have 33 acres of non-conforming use land in Mahopac, New York. It is situated on one of the highest elevations in Putnam County. The land is already clear, as ther is a equipment yard and staging center. I was approached a few years ago by Verizon, and was told that they needed one in the area desperatly and that I shouldn't have any trouble at all leasing it to capacity. My father owned theproperty then & had no interest. I would appreciate any help you could give me. Thank you
Verizon Wireless in Hudson Valley NY by: Steve - Tower Genius
Al, thanks for your post, we generally don't publish questions about getting a cell tower on your property because we get hundreds of these every year, but you did a great job with the visuals.
Put together a 1-2 page marketing sheet and the next time you are at the Palisades Center Mall in Rockland County, walk it up the street to 4 Center Rock Road in West Nyack. That's where Verizon's real estate department is. Tell the security guard you need to speak with the real estate manager. If you email it to them it will fall into a black hole, the in-your-face approach could be very effective, especially they made looked here previously and Mahopac is a tough town to get a cell site approved.
