There is a lease agreement in place that has expired. We are being forced to sign another before 05/05/2015. We were told that if we don't, that there are clauses in the first agreement that make the contract indefinite regardless so it doesn't matter what we do. (There is no cell tower on the property yet.) Also, we were told by the tower management company that we were not responsible for insuring the tower and that if there is a tower failure that damages our property, that they would be responsible. Is this not true? Did they LIE to us? I did was not involved in the signing of the original lease. The people originally involved are no longer managing this property. The more research I do, the more shady this all seems. I called the number but got no answer. Left a message.
Editor's note: Did you call Tower Genius and not get an answer, or did you call the site acquisition company that you are dealing with and not get a call? Sounds like you signed an option agreement that is expiring and they way you to extend it. No one can force you to do anything, Please call us, let's see what your original lease says and also wonder who you are dealing with. Tower Genius 888-313-9750.
