lease buyout

Got screwed on a lease. 50 year lease.....4600 a year to start goes up 15% every 5 years.

They want to "buy out" a fraction of what the total cost would be over the 50 years.

They took advantage of an elderly man.

Any advice?

Who was that???

That sucks. But that is what happens. Today there are places like Tower Genius. When I was contacted in 1988, these guys or anyone like them were not available.

I lost out too. But the lease is up in less that 3 years. My turn will come.

Sorry to hear it. Piss them off and don't ever sell.

Well, you can't shoot them legally.

Sorry to hear that. I wished you had called prior to taking that deal.
