Are you sure the IDEN antennas are being decommisioned? I thought cdma were being removed?

Some old Sprint (Nextel) IDEN Sites will be decommissioned... others will be utilized but with CDMA equipment.IDEN is the old "Push to Talk" technology. Remember those phones? Network Vision is s Sprint’s plan to consolidate multiple network technologies into one seamless network with the goal of increasing efficiency and enhancing network coverage, call quality and data speeds for customers across the United States. Part of this plan involves the launch of Sprint's 4G LTE services.
If you have been contacted for such an upgrade please call us ASAP. This could be an opportunity to increase your cell site lease revenue and improve your lease language with Sprint.
